Hide Location From Frontend

Managing which locations appear on your storefront is an important part of keeping your online store neat and relevant. This feature allows you to control the visibility of locations that have no stock (sold out) or hide specific locations that may not be needed at any given time. Here’s how you can use these options:

1. Hide Soldout Locations

This option enables you to automatically hide any locations that have no available stock. When a location is sold out (meaning it has no inventory), it will be hidden from the frontend of your store, ensuring customers don’t see locations where they cannot purchase items. How it works:

  • Automatic Visibility Control: If an item at a location runs out of stock, the location will be hidden automatically.
  • Prevents Customer Frustration: This is especially useful for preventing customers from trying to shop at locations where products are unavailable, improving the overall shopping experience. How to Enable: To activate this option, simply check the "Hide Soldout Locations" box in the settings. Once enabled, all locations with zero stock will be hidden from your storefront without you needing to take additional steps. Example Use Case:
  • If a location like "New York Store" runs out of stock on a particular item, that location will no longer appear on the product page for that item. hide location from frontend

2. Manually Select Locations to Hide

In addition to the automatic hide feature for sold-out locations, this option allows you to manually choose specific locations to hide from your storefront. You may want to hide certain locations temporarily, such as during renovations, for seasonal reasons, or if you're offering services in limited areas. How it works:

  • Manual Location Control: You have the option to choose specific locations that you’d like to hide, such as "London", "Los Angeles", or "Paris". These locations will no longer appear to customers browsing the storefront.
  • Flexible Management: This feature gives you flexibility, allowing you to manage location visibility on your own terms. How to Enable: you can manually select the locations you wish to hide by checking boxes next to the respective locations.
