Hide Location From Frontend

Managing which locations appear on your storefront is an important part of keeping your online store neat and relevant. All of these controls live in one place: Multi-Location Stock Info → Display Setting → Location Management.

1. Maximum Locations to Show​

Check Maximum Locations to Show and enter a number (1–999) to cap how many locations appear in the widget. This keeps long location lists from overwhelming the product page. See Show Maximum Number of Locations for details.

2. Hide Soldout Location​

Check Hide Soldout Location to automatically hide any location that has zero stock of the current product. The hiding is product-specific — a location that's sold out of Product A will still appear for Product B if it has stock.

3. Hide Location Based on Customer's Country or Market​

Check Hide location based on customer's country or market to automatically hide a location when the shopper's country isn't included in that location's Shipping Profile zones. The customer's country is auto-detected using whichever methods you've enabled on the Location Filters page.

This checkbox is a lighter-weight alternative to full rule-based hiding — it requires no manual rule setup, but it can't be combined with the sort options Sort Based on Nearest Location, Sort Locations by Quantity, Smart Location Recommendations, or Sort Manually (enabling it clears those).

4. Hide Location Based on Rules​

For conditional visibility beyond country/market — based on products, customers, collections, dates, and more — click the gear icon next to Hide Location Based on Rules. This opens the same rule builder used by Conditional Rules → Hide Location Rules, scoped to whichever location you choose. See Hide Locations Based on Rules for the full condition reference.

5. Manually Hide or Rename Individual Locations​

Below the sort options, each location is listed with:

  • An eye icon — click to show/hide that specific location regardless of stock or other rules.
  • A pencil icon — click to rename how that location's name is displayed to customers (see Location Names).
  • A drag handle — reorder locations manually when Sort Manually is selected under Sort Locations List.

Manual hide takes precedence over the automatic rules above, so it's useful for temporary closures, renovations, or seasonal locations.
