Stock Level Messages

This feature lets you display custom messages to customers based on the available stock quantity at each location. You can set rules so a different message appears depending on how much stock is left — for example, to create urgency, reassure shoppers, or flag a sold-out location.

Go to Multi-Location Stock Info → Display Setting, find Stock Level Messages in the Display Options list, and click the gear icon to configure it.

How It Works:​

  • Click Add rule to create a condition based on inventory quantity, using the operator dropdown: Greater Than, Less Than, or Equal To (e.g., "When inventory is Less Than 5").
  • Enter the message you want to show for that condition (e.g., "Only {{qty}} left — order soon!").
  • Rules are matched top-down — only the first matching rule applies, so order more specific/urgent rules above broader ones.
  • Enable Show Quantity with stock message to automatically append the live quantity (<br> {{qty}} available) to every rule's message.
  • Use the pencil and trash icons in the Actions column to edit or delete existing rules.

Template Tags:​

  • {{qty}} – Displays the actual number of items left at that location.
  • {{inv_msg}} – Include this in your Location Template to display whichever stock message rule matched.
  • Example Custom Message: Only {{qty}} left in stock – grab yours now!

Template tags on this page use double curly braces ({{ }}), matching the syntax used throughout Location Template, Location Notes, and Location Group View.
