Widget Rules

Go to Conditional Rules → Widget Rules. Widget Rules control when and where the Product Page Inventory Block appears — for specific products, collections, categories, customers, and more.

This is the current, working home for inventory-widget visibility rules. An older in-page "Rule Based Widget Visibility" section inside Display Setting is no longer active — always configure widget visibility here.

How It Works​

  1. Click + Add Rule, choose Widget Rules as the rule type.
  2. Build one or more condition groups using the condition types — Product, Customer, Location, Regional, Time and Date, Segment, and Cart rules are all available.
  3. Rule groups render as: Show Block If {type} {operator} {value}.
  4. Combine conditions with + And (within a group) and + OR (a new group) — see Conditional Rules Overview for the AND/OR logic.
  5. Save.

Example​

Goal: Only show the inventory widget on products in the "Electronics" collection, and only to logged-in customers.

  • Type → Collection, Operator → Includes, Value → Electronics
  • + And
  • Type → Customer Type, Operator → Includes, Value → Logged in Customers
