The Fulfillment Order feature ensures that customer orders are processed and shipped from a specific, selected location, improving inventory accuracy and fulfillment efficiency. It includes several advanced controls to manage how inventory and locations affect the shopping experience:

Key Capabilities:

• Limit Quantity by Location Stock Prevents customers from purchasing more than the available quantity at the selected location. This ensures accurate stock levels and avoids overselling.
• Purchase from One Location Only Restricts orders to a single fulfillment location. Customers cannot mix products from multiple locations in one order, helping streamline inventory management and reduce logistics complexity.
• Auto Select First Location Automatically selects the first available location as the default for order fulfillment. This simplifies the process for customers and speeds up checkout.
• Require Location Before Adding to Cart Customers must choose a store location before they can add items to their cart. Note: Enabling this will temporarily disable the cart until a location is selected. Ensure your store’s theme is compatible with this setting.
