Tags and Metafields

This section allows you to manage how product data is automatically updated based on inventory availability across different locations. It includes tools for applying product tags, syncing metafields, and storing structured inventory data.

Key Features:​

  • Location Tags: Automatically apply tags to products based on where they are in stock (e.g., available-new-york). These tags can be used for filtering, merchandising, or automations.
  • Metafield Sync: Sync inventory information into standard metafields for each product. This makes it easy to use dynamic inventory data within your theme or custom logic.
  • JSON Metafield: Creates a structured metafield that contains detailed, location-specific stock data in JSON format. Ideal for advanced theme customization or external integrations.

Sync Options:​

You can manually trigger updates using the Sync button for each feature. This ensures that all product data remains current and accurate across your store.
